Kathmandu: Ahead of his visit to the People's Republic of China, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' has been holding consultations with experts and stakeholders to ensure the trip's success. PM Prachanda plans to visit China after attending the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in the United States.
During these consultations, the prime minister met with top leaders of major political parties, former prime ministers, foreign affairs experts, and former ambassadors. The goal is to build consensus and common understanding on various agenda items for the China visit.
PM Prachanda emphasized that his visit to China will be fruitful, and preparations are ongoing. He also mentioned the government's commitment to maintaining balanced relations with neighboring countries and the international community, with a strong adherence to Nepal's Non-Aligned Foreign Policy.
The visit to China, following the UNGA, will focus on Nepal-China relations and the mutual interests of both countries. This includes implementing past agreements and fostering stronger ties between the two nations.
Former Foreign Ministers, political advisors, security advisors, the Chief Secretary, and the Foreign Secretary were among those present at the meetings.
